The Czech Power Industry Alliance has prepared an expert analysis for the Ministry of Industry and Trade, which defines the possibilities and competences of Czech companies in their involvement in the completion of new nuclear power plants in the Czech Republic.
The analysis, which confirms the assumption made by the Minister of Industry and Trade Jozef Sikely last spring that 65% of Czech companies would be involved in the completion of the NPP, was presented by the Alliance to journalists at a press conference in Prague at the end of April.
The competences of six major Czech suppliers in the nuclear power industry were presented by top representatives of each company. The event was also attended by Tomáš Ehler, Deputy Chief Director of the Energy and Nuclear Resources Section of the MIT and Petr Závodský, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Elektrárny Dukovany II a.s.
