ZAT has successfully passed further audits performed by its two key customers in the field of the power industry. In May, we were audited by Slovenské elektrárne, a.s., and this month there has been a joint audit by ČEZ, a.s. and Škoda JS a.s.
The audits focused on verifying compliance with the requirements for the quality management of supplies for nuclear power projects. „In both cases we were highly evaluated. Thanks to the audits performed, we remain approved suppliers for our customer’s projects for the next three years,“ states Petr Kolečkář, Quality Manager and Deputy Director - Services Department of ZAT.
As far as Slovenské elektrárne is concerned, ZAT supplies control systems to both of its nuclear power plants in Slovakia. In the Czech Republic, nearly one hundred percent of the Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant is controlled by our control systems and they are also implemented at the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant.
In cooperation with Škoda JS we are currently implementing projects for the Metsamor Nuclear Power Plant in Armenia and for an experimental nuclear reactor in Brazil.
Having successfully passed the above mentioned audits, we have once again confirmed the readiness and quality of setting of the integrated management system (IMS) and all processes in ZAT as well as our competences for the implementation of other projects in the field of the nuclear power industry, including the planned completion of the Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant. At the same time, we are ready to get involved in controlling nuclear research technologies.
